It was about Lesbian Biker Gangs at war, fighting with chains, knives, iron pipes, many gruesome fatal fights and much bewildering explicit straight and lesbian sex.

i'm curious, could you post any excerpts, after your first message i did a little on-line research, and found a few references to this book as well as cover art, but was unable to find the book itself

I adored this book 40 years ago, but my copy was stolen. I would love to read it again! The writing is amongst the most vivid I have ever seen - unforgettable imagery. If anyone can locate the text, I'd be so thankful! The Australian edition was so heavily censored that I didn't have a clue that lesbianism was a theme- so would like to see it in its full, unexpurgated version.
